Nikki’s career as a violinist began at a young age and by the time she was in high school, she was running her own successful instructional studio. She went on to study violin performance at Mason Gross with Lenuta Ciulei and Boris Kucharsky under whom she learned the methods of such greats as David Oistrakh, Yehudi Menuhin, and Erick Friedman. While in school, she performed with several chamber groups including the Orion and Shanghai Quartets, and became the first chair violinist for the award winning Cerulean Quartet. Nikki finished her senior year of college with honors and two performances of the Sibelius Concerto with the orchestra of Mason Gross School of Art.
